New car sales in the Czech Republic are up an encouraging 3% year-on-year in November to 14,697 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 150,197 units, down 7% on 2012. Below the Skoda Octavia evolving in the upper-stratosphere at 2,003 sales and 13.6% this month vs. 11.1% year-to-date, the Skoda Rapid reclaims the 2nd spot it held last July and August thanks to 794 sales and 5.4%. Meanwhile, the Skoda Fabia drops to a new low of 737 units and 5%, the nameplate’s lowest ever monthly market share at home. The VW Golf is in great shape at #4 and #1 foreigner with 562 sales and 3.8%, while the Ford Fiesta is up a fantastic 8 spots on October to land at #5 with 421 units and 2.9%.
Further down, let’s salute the Peugeot 308 lodging a second consecutive month inside the Czech Top 10 at #9, the Audi A6 up an unbelievable 46 ranks on last month to #19 and 1% share, the Fiat 500L up 16 spots to #26, Dacia Logan up 10 to #29, Dacia Dokker up 17 to #36, BMW X5 up 73 to #48, the Renault Captur holding up inside the Top 50 – just – down 2 to #50 and the Peugeot 2008 up 32 to #70.
