New car sales in Czech Republic are back into negative in October at -4% year-on-year to 15,346 registrations, which means the year-to-date total remains down 8% at 135,500 units. The podium is 100% Skoda once again with solid performances of all three models: the Octavia leads the way by far thanks to 2,012 sales and 13.1% share vs. 10.8% year-to-date, followed by the Fabia at 5.8% vs. 6.2% and the Rapid at 5.6% vs. 5.1%.

The VW Golf is back to the #1 foreign model position it holds year-to-date at #4 with 522 sales and 3.4%, its strongest monthly volume so far in 2013, ahead of the Hyundai i30 at 2.5% and the Skoda Superb at 2.3%. Other great performers this month in the Czech Republic include the Peugeot 308 up a huge 11 ranks on September to #9 and 1.8% share, the Dacia Duster up 4 to #12, Citroen C4 up 15 to #23, Ford Kuga up 56 to #37, Mitsubishi ASX up 14 to #38 and the Renault Captur breaking into the Czech Top 50 for the first time, up 52 spots to #48.
