In the face of bailout uncertainty, the Greek new car market slows its growth in June but stays largely in positive at 8.999 registrations and +13% on June 2014 which was itself up 41% on June 2013. The year-to-date total halfway through 2015 stands at 43.142 deliveries, up 15% on the same period in 2014. Nissan triumphs once again in the brands ranking with 978 sales and 10.9% share and now ranks #2 year-to-date below just Toyota at 9.7% vs. 10.6%. Volkswagen is up 49% to 2nd place, Opel down 3% to #3, Toyota down 19% to #4 and Peugeot up 124% to #5. Suzuki leaps up 47% to 6th overall, placing the Celerio inside the Greek monthly Top 10 for the first time at #6 and the Vitara at #30, Seat is up 32% year-on-year and 10 spots on May to #9, positioning the Ibiza at #9 (#25 year-to-date), the Leon at #26 (#48) and the Mii at #31 (#56).
