New car sales in Czech Republic are up another cool 17% year-on-year to 17,498 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 60,491 units, also up 17% on 2013. Some welcome stability in the models ranking this month: the trio Octavia-Rapid-Fabia is quickly turning into cement: it has now ranked in this order at home for four consecutive months. The VW Golf is up one spot on March to reclaim the title of most popular foreign model in the country at #4 with 703 sales and 4%, ahead of the Hyundai i30 at 3.4%, the Ford Fiesta at 2.3% and the Hyundai ix20 at 2.2%. The rest of the Top 11 best-sellers are 100% Skoda, rounding up the entire range: the Roomster (#8), Citigo (#9), Yeti (#10) and Superb (#11). Notice also the Seat Leon up 6 spots on March to #12, the Hyundai ix35 up 9 to #13, the Peugeot 301 up 40 to #41, the BMW X5 extremely solid again at #42 and the Hyundai i10 up 17 ranks to #46.
