Greece February 2024: Suzuki (+145.3%), Fiat (+146.1%) shine in sturdy market

Fiat Panda sales are up 261.6% year-on-year in February.

The Greek new car market is up a splendid 15% year-on-year in February to 11,451 sales, leading to a year-to-date tally up 18.1% to 24,203 units. Toyota (+44.6%) vastly outpaces the galloping market to reach 15.6% share, well above Citroen (+9.4%) at 8.8%. Peugeot (-24.2%) drops to #3 but remains in 2nd place year-to-date. Hyundai (+29.5%) doubles the market growth at #4 but Suzuki (+145.3%) does even better at #5 and #4 so far this year. Fiat (+146.1%) is the biggest gainer in the Top 10 while below, Tesla (+167.3%), Seat (+59.1%) and Nissan (+41.4%) stand out. Newcomer MG is down five spots on last month to #18.

Over in the models lane, the Toyota Yaris (+115.8%) reclaims the top spot for the first time since last September, dethroning the Citroen C3 (-3.8%), which however remains #1 year-to-date. The Peugeot 2008 (+728.4%) posts a surreal year-on-year gain to stay in third place both for the month and year-to-date vs. #9 over the Full Year 2023. The Suzuki Vitara (+249%) and Fiat Panda (+261.6%) are also in fantastic shape at #4 and #6, as is the Hyundai i30 (+476.5%) at #9.
