The Slovak new car market drops -8.7% year-on-year in September to 5.797 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 5.6% at 58.719 units. Market leader Skoda (-40.9%) freefalls to just 16.3% share vs. 21.3% so far this year, and is followed this month by Kia (+23%) up to a fantastic 12.1% share vs. 9.5% year-to-date. The VW T-Cross is up four ranks on August to #4, distancing the Hyundai Tucson down one to #5 and the Skoda Scala up one to #6. The VW Golf is up six to #8 and the Toyota RAV4 up two to #10.
