Angola Full Year 2019: Toyota Land Cruiser 70 best-seller, Jetour X70 in Top 10, market down -15.3%

The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 is #1 in Angola in 2019.

Exclusive Angola registrations data is now available for both the Full Year 2018 and 2019, note these figures are very different (much higher) to our last updates due to a change of sources to much more reliable figures. Previous years were sales which are often underreported. Angolan new light vehicle registrations drop -15.3% to 11.584 units. The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 (+140.4%) spectacularly snaps the overall lead for 2019, unsettling the Toyota Hilux (-73.3%) while the Prado (+17.2%), Fortuner (+656.4%) and Land Cruiser 200 (+113.6%) ensure the Top 5 is 100% Toyota. The Renault Duster (-38.8%) is the best of the rest while the Jetour X70 makes a remarkable entrance directly inside the annual Top 10 at #9. The Chana Honor S is the other Chinese inside the 2019 Angolan Top 20, while in 2018 the Jinbei Haise (#4) and Chana Benni (#10) also had this honour.
