Then the Chevrolet Cavalier was the best-selling vehicle in the country from 1990 to 1993, before the Ford F-Series took the lead in 1994. The pickup would dominate the Canadian charts for 24 of the following 28 years, toppled from 2000 to 2002 by the Dodge Caravan and in 2008 by the Honda Civic.
