The Ford Focus is up one spot and 3% to #2 with 2.142 units and 3.8% while the Opel Astra, leader in 2012, suffers from the discontinuation of the “Classic” 1998 model and drops 60% to 1,780 sales and 3.2% at #4.

The VW Golf is boosted by the new generation, up 41% and 6 ranks to #6, the Suzuki SX4 is up 15% and 3 spots to #7 thanks to the arrival of the new ‘S-Cross’ model, and filling the gap left in the Opel range by the departure of the Astra Classic, the Corsa is up an impressive 49% and 10 spots to #9 with 2% share. Notice also the Skoda Rapid landing at #19. Brand-wise, the Top 4 best-sellers are unchanged: Opel stays on top with 10.8% share (-15%) but Skoda is catching up: +12% at 10.3% of the market, followed by Ford at 9.8% and Volkswagen at 9.1%.
