With a bit of delay I can share with you today the Turkish All-models ranking for September. 67,963 new vehicles found a buyer this month, adding up to 586,345 year-to-date. For only the 4th time in the history of the nameplate after January 2012, October 2012 and February 2013, the Renault Fluence is the most popular model in the country with 3,190 sales and 4.7%, now benefitting fully from its facelift and somehow stealing the Renault Symbol’s thunder: the latter is down from #1 in August to #7 at 1,839 units and 2.7%.
The Fiat Linea ranks #2 this month with 2,799 sales and 4.1% but remains by far the best-seller year-to-date at 27,718 units and 4.7%, while the VW Polo lodges another very solid score at #3 with 2,497 sales and 3.7%. Further down, notice the Citroen C-Elysee up 16 spots on August to #20, the Hyundai ix35 up 27 to #25, BMW5 Series up 9 to #33, Renault Captur up 3 to #43, Nissan Micra up to #50 vs. #98 year-to-date and Peugeot 2008 up 12 to #81. Finally, let’s welcome the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross at #216 with 7 sales and the BMW 4 Series at #225 and 4 units sold.
