Now that you are familiar with the Top 10 best-selling models in the UK over the first Quarter of 2012, I am able to share with you an all-models ranking exclusive to Best Selling Cars Blog! There is a lot of change in the ranking so I will focus on the main events, for the full table just click on the title of this article! Thanks to an exceptional month of March when it ranked #8, the Toyota Yaris is knocking at the overall Top 10’s door at #13 with 9,126 sales and 1.6%. While the Fiat 500 stays extremely solid at #15, the Nissan Juke continues to progress to #16 at 8,083 units and 1.4%.
The Range Rover Evoque is an instant hit at home: it reaches an excellent 28th position over the period thanks to 5,481 sales, giving it a 1% market share, a level that no Range Rover model has delivered in at least a decade. The UK is not the Evoque’s top country in the world though, having reached #20 in Switzerland in March. Notice also the Citroen DS3 up 18 ranks on its 2011 level to #33 at 4,612 units and 0.8%, now selling way more than the C3 at #54 and 3,288 sales. The Jaguar XF breaks into the Top 50 at #50, the Mercedes A-Class is up 30 spots to #53 and the Lexus CT up 22 ranks to #84.
Further down, the Vauxhall Antara is up 67 spots to #103, the VW Up! makes its first appearance in the UK ranking at #110, the BMW 6 Series is up 35 ranks to #145 and the Hyundai Veloster lands at #155. Designed in China and supposed to revive the legendary MG brand in the UK, the MG6 seems to finally take off, up 58 spots on its 2011 level to #161 with 441 sales and 0.1% share. Finally, 18 units of the Lamborghini Aventador (vs. 14 over the full year 2011) and the first 5 Chevrolet Volt were registered over the period.
