For the first time this year, new car sales in Czech Republic are down, by 4% at 14,620 units. The year-to-date figure is still up 4% at 56,646 registrations. No surprises on top, the Skoda Octavia (11.9%) and Skoda Fabia (8.2%) are distant leaders as always. They are both below their 2011 levels however, at 13.6% and 8.8% respectively.
The Ford Focus stays very strong in 3rd place with 3.3% share, ahead of the VW Golf, up 6 spots at #4 and 2.9%. The Skoda Yeti is also up 6 spots in 5th place and ranks in the Top 5 for the second time this year. The Skoda Superb, albeit staying at 2.6% of the market, drops 1 spot to #6. That’s 4 Skodas in the Top 6 this month, as in the year-to-date ranking.
