Slovenia March 2025: Ford (+113.6%), Kia (+30.7%) highlight stable market
The Ford Tourneo Courier breaks into the Slovenian Top 10 in March.
The Slovenian new car market is stable in March at +0.2% year-on-year to 5,285 sales. This results in a Q1 volume up 4.8% to 14,672. Volkswagen (+3.4%) remains the uncontested leader in the brands charts but at 13.7% share it is well below its YTD level of 15.1%. Skoda (+15.6%) posts a splendid gain and climbs back up to #2 with 11.9% share, overtaking Renault (-17.7%), skidding. Hyundai (+9.6%) repeats at #4 above a freefalling Toyota (-19%). Outstanding performances by Ford (+113.6%) and Kia (+30.7%) below, with Audi (+21.7%), Mercedes (+19.6%), Nissan (+18.6%) and Tesla (+17.6%) also very dynamic. Chinese carmaker Forthing (+940%) continues to gear up but falls seven spots on February to #21.
Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (-0.9%) is back up three spots on last month to reclaim the lead it holds year-to-date with 4.1% share. The Renault Captur (+13.1%) repeats at #2 ahead of the Skoda Kodiaq (+9.6%) up two ranks to #3 and the Nissan Qashqai (+3.3%) up 21 to #4. The Skoda Kamiq (+83.6%) continues to impress at #5 and #4 over Q1. The Ford Tourneo Courier (+4250%!) is however the month’s best performer, up to #9 vs. #49 over the Full Year 2024. Leader in February, the Renault Clio (-63.7%) collapses to #23.
