Finland November 2020: Toyota Yaris surges to pole position in market down -15.4%
The Toyota Yaris is the best-selling vehicle in Finland in November.

The Finnish new car market endures an 11th consecutive year-on-year decline in November at -15.4% year-on-year to 7.294 registrations, pulling the year-to-date tally down -17.2% to 86.353. Toyota (+6.6%) ignores the surrounding gloom to cement its brands pole position ahead of Volkswagen (-16%), Skoda (-5.9%) and Volvo (-24.5%). Kia (+3%) is the only additional Top 10 gainer just as Renault (-25.4%) and Mercedes (-22.8%) sink. Just outside the Top 10, Citroen (+47.9%), Peugeot (+39.1%) and Audi (+12.3%) impress with fantastic upticks.
Over in the models ranking, the Toyota Yaris (+69.9%) surges 3 spots on October to easily take the lead with 7.7% share, it however remains third in the year-to-date order. Toyota manages a 1-2 with the Corolla (-14.1%) bumped down to #2 but holding onto its comfortable YTD lead. The VW Golf (+41.8%) rallies back up 15 spots on last month to #4 and the Ford Focus (+19.2%) is up 5 to #5. The Citroen C3 (+119.7%) posts the largest gain in the Top 10 with the Volvo V60 (+9.4%) also up. Further down, the Opel Corsa (+620%), Skoda Kamiq (+265.2%), Superb (+118.4%), Volvo XC40 (+55.2%) and Mercedes GLC (+53.3%) stand out.
