The Renault Logan is the best-selling vehicle in Colombia in February.
The Colombian new vehicle market soars 11.1% year-on-year in February to 20.547 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 13.1% to 38.974. In the brands ranking, Renault (+20.8%) continues to widen the gap with its archenemy Chevrolet (+3.3%) while Nissan (+22.3%) doubles the market growth rate in third place. BMW (+47%), Volkswagen (+14.1%) and Suzuki (+11.8%) also outpace the market in the remainder of the Top 10 but Toyota (+10%), Mazda (+5.5%) and Kia (+0.3%) aren’t that lucky and Ford (-26.2%) freefalls. Further down, Seat (+147.1%), Volvo (+104.7%), JMC (+73.8%), Citroen (+73.3%), Foton (+63.4%), Subaru (+44.2%), Peugeot (+27%), Honda (+25.4%) and Mercedes (+16.9%) are among the best performers. Model-wise, Renault reclaims its supremacy, with the Logan (+7.9%) snapping the top spot for the first time since last August, followed by the Sandero (+7.6%). The Chevrolet Beat (+57.2%) posts a splendid year-on-year gain but drops one spot on February to #3. The Kia Picanto (+31.5%), Nissan March (+25.5%) and Renault Duster (+20.5%) also impress.
