Luxembourg November 2019: Renault (+188.4%), BMW (+29.5%) help lift market up 12%

Renault sales are up almost 3-fold year-on-year in Luxembourg this month.

New car sales in Luxembourg soar 12% year-on-year in November to 3.952 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 3.4% to 51.881. Volkswagen (+5.6%) only edges up and posts a lower share than YTD at 11.1% vs. 12.5% but reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date, with BMW (+29.5%) only 7 units below with 10.9% share vs. just 8.7% so far in 2019. Renault (+188.4%) surges to 10.7% vs. 6.9%, overtaking last month’s winner Mercedes (-3.3%) now down. Audi (+32%), Peugeot (+23.8%) and Skoda (+18.1%) also easily outrace the market in the remainder of the Top 10. Porsche (+550%), DS (+228.6%), Tesla (+128.6%), Dacia (+86.8%), Toyota (+66.7%) and Seat (+63%) shine further down.
