The Chilean new car market continues on its very impressive run, clocking a 29th consecutive month of year-on-year gain in September at +10.7% to 39.263 registrations, a new record for the month eclipsing the previous best of 36.595 established in 2011. Model-wise, the Mitsubishi L200 rallies back up 4 spots on August to reclaim the pole position it holds year-to-date, with the Toyota RAV4 up 6 to #2 vs. #6 so far this year and the Chevrolet Sail down one to #3. The Toyota Yaris (+4), Hyundai Grand i10 (+4), Mazda CX-5 (+5) and Hyundai Tucson (+6) also impress at #4, #7, #9 and #10 respectively while the Chery Tiggo 2 is among the 20 most popular nameplates in the country at #18.
