Rep of Macedonia May 2018: Peugeot 208 best-seller
The Peugeot 208 is the best-selling model in the Republic of Macedonia in May.

According to our Eastern European data specialist partner CE Auto, new car sales in the Republic of Macedonia gain 27% year-on-year in May to 512 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 6.9% to 2.335. The Peugeot 208 posts its first podium ranking since last August, becoming this month’s most popular nameplate and earning a spot in the YTD Top 10. The Fiat Doblo (+58%) follows ahead of the VW Golf which is now only one sale below the Citroen C3 YTD, the French supermini still dominant but out of the May Top 10. The Ford Fiesta (-29%) and Kia Sportage (-17%) round up the Top 5 but both endure steep declines, while the Ford Focus, Fiat Ducato, VW Polo and Renault Captur return inside the Top 10.
