The Thai new car market is once again and encouragingly up year-on-year in June – it’s the 5th time in the past 8 months – with deliveries up 9% to 66.049 units, leading to a half-year result down just 0.1% on 2015 to 368.630. Toyota drops 2% but at 32.3%, it holds a much higher market share than year-to-date (29.5%). The Japanese manufacturer is followed once again by fellow compatriots Isuzu (16.9%), Honda up 26% (15.1%) and Mitsubishi (6.2%). Below, Ford shoots up 41% to #5 and 5.8% share, Nissan is up 16%, Mazda up 12% and Suzuki up 19%.
