Finland September 2015: Toyota Avensis on podium

The Finnish new car market is up 1% year-on-year in September to 8.449 registrations, however the year-to-date total is still in negative territory at -0.6% and 81.836 units. Toyota is the most popular manufacturer in the country for the 2nd month running thanks to sales up 5% to 1.059 and 12.5% market share, distancing traditional leader Volkswagen at 867 deliveries and 10.3%. Toyota places the Avensis at #3 (+90%), Auris at #4 (-18%) and Yaris at #7 (+7%), while Volkswagen has the Golf at #5 (+4%) and the Passat at #6 (+51%). Nissan posts a strong performance at +19% with the Qashqai at #2 (+20%), Skoda is down 10% but still places the Octavia on top. Notice also Opel up 28%, BMW up 25%, Mazda up 26%, Renault up 110% and Dacia up 126%.
