Argentina September 2015: Chevrolet Classic #1 again
The Chevrolet Classic is the best-selling nameplate in Argentina for the 2nd month running.

Good news coming from Argentina this month, with the new car market actually up year-on-year at +11% to 65.138 units, bringing the year-to-date total to 485.876 sales, down 13% on 2014. Volkswagen (+14%) remains the most popular manufacturer in the country by far with 18.8% share, distancing Ford (+16%) while Renault (+37%) jumps on the podium at 12.9% of the market vs. 11.2% year-to-date. Chevrolet (+27%), Fiat (+21%), Audi (+231%), Agrale (+230%) and Mitsubishi (+30%) also impress. Model-wise, the Chevrolet Classic posts a second consecutive month in pole position – also the third time in the past four months – thanks to sales up 39% to 3.139, above the VW Gol Trend (+18%), Toyota Hilux (+24%) and Ford Fiesta Kinetic (-1%). The Fiat Palio (+54%), Ford Ecosport (+40%) and VW Amarok (+42%) also post impressive gains within the Top 10.
