Sales of new light vehicle in Belgium add up to 33,647 in November and 507,066 year-to-date, including Light Commercial Vehicles. Volkswagen manages an impressive 1-2 with the Golf in the lead both in November at 3.1% share and year-to-date at 3% and the Polo at #2 this month thanks to 743 sales and 2.2%. In third position, the Opel Corsa continues to benefit from discounted prices on the outgoing generation while the Renault Kangoo (up 7 spots on October to #4) and the Hyundai ix35 (up 8 to #5) are the stars of the Belgian Top 10. Notice also the Skoda Octavia up 8 to #8 and the Peugeot 308 holding its rank among the 10 most popular nameplates in Belgium at #9.
Further down, the Ford Focus is up 11 ranks on last month to #15, the Mercedes C-Class is at #19 vs. #35 YTD, the VW Tiguan is up 24 to #20, the VW Golf Sportsvan ranks #38 vs. #110 YTD, the Peugeot 108 breaks into the Belgian Top 50 for the first time at #49, the Citroen C4 Cactus retreats to #66 after ranking #53 in October and the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is up 40 spots to #77. Among other recent launches, the Nissan Pulsar is up 75 ranks on October to #128, the Ford Ecosport up 12 to #152, the Lexus NX up 38 to #156, the Jeep Renegade down 10 to #172 and the Smart Forfour lands at #176.
