The French car market begins the month by gaining 7% year-on-year at 40,720 sales over the first 10 days. The Renault Clio falls to a more reasonable 6.3% market share thanks to 2,552 sales, but stays leader by far, followed by the Citroen C3 at 4.3% and the Renault Megane at 4%.
In 4th place, the Peugeot 207 is dangerously stuck at a low 3.8% share due to a screw supply shortage (!). The Dacia Duster is back up to #5 with 1,404 sales and 3.4%, the VW Polo confirms it is the French’s favourite foreign model and the Citroen C4 is back within the Top 10 for the first time since August.
