The Dacia revival is already a success story: up 202% and 6 spots on 2004 to end its first full year of sales at #15 above Hyundai, Mazda and Kia. Subaru (+149%), Jaguar (+92%), Land Rover (+83%), Mini (+73%) and BMW (+58%) impress.

Over in the models ranking, the new generation Suzuki Swift lands directly in the top spot for its first full year of sales in its country of production with just under 18.500 sales. Leader in 2004, the Suzuki Ignis (-24%) is knocked down to #2 while the Skoda Fabia (-4%) remains in third place, overtaking the Opel Astra Class (-15%), and the Ford Focus (+8%) rounds up the Top 5. The Peugeot 206 is now inside the Top 10, the Chevrolet Lacetti ranks 12th and the Dacia Logan points its bonnet just outside the Top 20 at #21.
