The Punto helps Fiat up 31.7% in Ireland in 1995.

The Irish new car market continues to gallop ahead at +8.1% to 86.905 registrations in 1995. The Top 6 brands are unchanged on 1994 but evolve in vastly different ways: Ford (+3.1%) keeps the lead at 14.8% just above Opel (+1.3%) but Toyota (-0.6%) is down and Nissan (+0.3%) only edges up, meaning the Top 4 carmakers all underperform. Reversely Fiat (+31.7%), VW-Audi (+25.8%), Mazda (+19.3%) and Renault (+17.6%) all impress in the remainder of the Top 10.
