Mexico June 2015: Sixth consecutive monthly all-time record
Mexican Nissan March sales are up an explosive 72% year-on-year in June.

The Mexican new car market has gone to the next level in 2015, posting a 6th consecutive monthly record in June at 106.890 units, up an astounding 27% year-on-year and the first time Mexican June sales break the 100.000 sales-milestone, beating the previous 2006 June record of 87.083 units by an extravagant 23%. The result is a six-month tally at an all-time high 609.825 registrations, up 22% or more than 100.000 units on 2014. As is now the norm, market leader Nissan outpaces the market to cement its implacable domination at +29% to 28.235 sales and 26.4% share, while General Motors is up an even more impressive 43% to 20.1%. Volkswagen (+9%) loses share at #3, FCA (+27%) and Ford Motor (+29%) follow the market but Toyota (+21%) and Honda (+14%) undeperform. Hyundai posts another record month at 2.472 sales and 2.3% share, establishing itself inside the Top 10 at #9.
The Nissan X-Trail is up to 8th place overall in Mexico this month.
The Chevrolet Aveo remains the best-selling vehicle in Mexico with sales up a splendid 53% year-on-year above the VW Nuevo Jetta (+59%) and Nissan March (+72%) while the Nissan Versa (+1%) is back above the VW Vento (+33%) at #2 year-to-date, the Nissan X-Trail leaps to a fantastic 8th place overall with 2.695 sales and 2.5% share and the Chevrolet Trax is flirting with the Top 10 thanks to sales doubling year-on-year.
