Bulgaria October 2012: Great Wall up to #2, places Steed and Voleex C10 on podium!

Thanks to Kalo I can share with you for only the second time ever on BSCB a complete models ranking for Bulgaria! In October an estimated 2,080 new vehicles found a buyer in the country, bringing the year-to-date total to 19,902 units. Massive event in the brands ranking this month: Great Wall, now assembling cars in the country, is up to an extraordinary 2nd place below just Volkswagen with 219 sales and 10.5% share! It passes Toyota, Skoda, Dacia and Renault in October and now ranks #8 year-to-date thanks to 1,049 units sold. VW stays in the lead with 2,087 sales and 10.5%.

And the models ranking for September+October reflects fully the performance of Great Wall. Below the Dacia Logan still in pole position at 148 units and 3.8%, adding up to 810 sales and 4.1% year-to-date, Great Wall places no less than two models on the podium over the period! The Great Wall Steed ranks #2 at 137 units and 3.5% while the Great Wall Voleex C10 is #3 with 122 sales and 3.1%… Given how skewed towards October these figures must be, it is fair to assume that either of these Great Wall models has finished October in pole position…

The Skoda Octavia is down to #4 but stays #3 year-to-date at 489 units and 2.5%, the VW Golf is up to #5 and the Kia Sportage down to #6. Other great performers in Bulgaria over the period include the Great Wall Hover up to #11 vs. #19 year-to-date, the Kia Cee’d up to #15 vs. #22, Toyota Aygo up to #16 vs. #28, Toyota Land Cruiser up to #24 vs. #36, Kia Rio up to #27 vs. #49, Peugeot 208 up to #28 vs. #62, Ford Ranger up to #43 vs. #92, Skoda Citigo up to #48 vs. #86 and the Dacia Lodgy up to #71 vs. #150. Notice also the Citroen C4 Aircross landing at #129 with 5 sales and the Dacia Dokker at #194 with one unit sold.
