As usual available with one month delay, June new cars sales in Turkey are down 10% year-on-year to 50,849 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 244,490 units, down 16% on 2011. The Fiat Linea continues to dominate the models ranking head and shoulders with 3,622 sales and 7.1%, at #1 for the 5th consecutive month and also leading the year-to-date ranking at 15,826 units and 6.5%.

The Renault Fluence is back up 4 spots to #2 with 2,368 sales and 4.7%, and with the Renault Symbol down to a disappointing 7th place this month, the Fluence is up to #2 year-to-date at 12,398 units and 5.1%.

The Opel Corsa is up 3 ranks to #4 with 1,963 sales and 3.9%, the VW Passat is up two to #8 with 1,494 units and 2.9%. But the big event this month is the arrival of the BMW 3 Series in 10th position with 1,244 sales and 2.4%, nearly half of the sales of the model over the year so far: 2,601 units in 26th place.
