Netherlands LCV June 2012: Opel Vivaro strong again

Dutch companies bought 5,324 new Light Commercial Vehicles in June, bringing the year-to-date total to 33,956. This month the entire Top 5 best-selling models stay unchanged on May. The VW Caddy and Transporter dominate again with 571 and 562 sales respectively, for a 10.7% and 10.6% market share. This is lower than its 2012 YTD level for the Caddy (11.9%) but higher for the Transporter (10.3%).
The Opel Vivaro ranks within the podium for only the third time in the last 7 months, improving on an already solid month of May at 7.3% share thanks to 391 units sold, ahead of the Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit. Other great performers this month include the Peugeot Partner up 6 spots on May to #9 with 181 sales and 3.4% and the Opel Combo Van at #15 with 149 units and 2.8%.
