In June, Dutch car sales are up 52% year-on-year to 76,813 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 332,122 units, back in positive on 2011 at +1%. These figures reflect a sales pull forward due to some subsidies on low-emission cars coming to an end on July 1. The Renault Megane has benefitted fully from the measures in place, lodging another astounding month at 3,833 sales and 5% share (after 5.3% in May). The VW Polo, still leader YTD at 12,253 units and 3.7%, ranks third in June with 2,311 sales and 3%.
The Chevrolet Spark is up 33 ranks on last month to #4 with 2,298 units and 3% followed by the BMW 3 Series in excellent shape again at 2,052 sales and 2.7%.
