Surprise: VW Passat is out of top ten and Fiesta is behind Polo and Corsa.
@Rick
correct, that´s the point! Vw have huge profits in huge important markets like China, Brazil, South Africa… and the Golf monopolises Europe sales beeing number one. No wonder the golf is the best selling car in europe with more than 20.000 example sales in Germany each month.
I read stories how VW is able to offer signifcant discounts in France, Italie and the UK. Well, with the ultra strong home market and the incredible hig sales in f.i. China, VAG is making so much money they can conquer sales at any price.
I´m amazed with the Mégane… I drove a rented one in Madeira island last March when I was in holidays and honestly, I did not like it at all!
What concern to the Focus, it deserves a better place… it´s a quite competent car
The Corsa is cute but getting old and the polo is getting old too and is ugly. the majority of its sales are to rent a car.
Only the Qashqai and 3 Series have managed to increase their sales, the Focus deserves to do better, the Corsa is a fairly old design but is still doing well, it will be interesting to see how the 208 and Up! will do
