Finland November 2011: Skoda Octavia reinforces new leadership

Another excellent month for the Finnish car market, up 10% in November at 8,986 registrations and up 13% year-to-date to 117,729 units. Fresh from its arrival in the lead of the year-to-date models ranking last month, the Skoda Octavia delivers an outstanding month of November at 546 sales and 6.1% share, by far its best month this year and its first time above 6% share. This means the Octavia reinforces its 2011 leadership at 5,577 units and 4.7% vs. 5,298 and 4.5% for the VW Golf, back to #2 this month with 318 sales and 3.5%.
The Ford Focus is up 3 spots on October to #3 and 3.5%, the Nissan Qashqai is up one rank to #4 and 3.3%, while the Toyota Yaris, boosted by the new generation, is up a massive 14 spots to #5 at 265 units and 2.9%. It is #12 year-to-date. Notice also the Audi A4 up 3 spots to #10, the Volvo V50 up 8 ranks to #12 and the Volvo XC60 up 10 spots to #13.
