Algeria May 2011: Chinese import Chevrolet Sail in Top10

Chevrolet Sail

Thanks to Autoblog Español, I am able to share with you the best-selling models in Algeria in more detail than usual this month.

May 2011 will be remembered as the first month a Chinese import managed to rank within the Algerian Top 10. The Chevrolet Sail manages this feat for its very first month of sales in the country at #8 with 575 units.

The Top 4 is unchanged vs. April, with the Renault Symbol leader by far at 3,731 sales, ahead of the Hyundai Atos (2,011 units), Peugeot 207 (1,741) and Hyundai Accent (1,700). The Suzuki Alto has an excellent month at #5 with 1,234 sales and the Dacia Logan is up to a still shy 6th place.
