Chile 7 months 2009: Hyundai Accent snaps 1st place
After 3 years of uninterrupted reign, the Toyota Yaris drops to #5 over the first 7 months of 2009, in a very tight ranking: only 232 sales separate the #1 from the #5. The Hyundai Accent holds the top spot with 2,941 sales, reflecting the progression of Korean brands in the country.
It is followed by no less than 3 Chevrolets: the Aveo is #2 at 2,808 sales, the Corsa is #3 at 2,796 and the Spark is #4 at 2,709. The vaillant Nissan V16 is still doing very well in 6th with 2,143 sales. Pick-ups are down, with best -seller Nissan Terrano Pick-up in 8th. 7 months 2009 Top 15 below.
