Fiat 500

Over the first 5 months of 1969, the Fiat 500 is by far the best-selling car in Italy with over 160.000 sales, followed by the Fiat 850 just under 100.000, the Fiat 124 above 50.000 and the Alfa Romeo Giulia above 25.000.

Fiat 124

Italian manufacturer Innocenti sells the English Mini in Italy under its own brand and this model takes the 5th place with just under 25.000 units sold over the period, ahead of the Fiat 125 just below 20.000. The NSU Prinz is the best-selling foreign model at #7.

Autobianchi Bianchina

Autobianchi Primula

Notice the Autobianchi Bianchina at #8 and the Autobianchi Primula at #19. The Fiat 600 is already down to #13, while the Fiat 128 appears for the first time in the Italian ranking at #15. The Citroen DS/ID ranks 19th.
