Thanks to our partnership with CE Auto, we can share with you today September data for Moldova, a market up a whopping 41.3% year-on-year to 588 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 33% to 3.813 sales. It’s a freak event atop the Moldovan models ranking this month: whereas it had never reached the Top 10, the Renault Master shoots up to pole position with 10.9% share. This is the result of a donation of a fleet of 95 Renault Master minibuses by the Romanian government to be used for school transportation with the objective of connecting students living in remote areas. October will likely see another bump as only 64 of the order of 95 are accounted for this month. The year-to-date leader, the Dacia Logan, is down 21% to 5.6% share vs. 7.1% so far in 2017, ahead of the Dacia Duster (+72%), Toyota RAV4 and Skoda Superb (both at +83%). The Skoda Kodiaq remains inside the Top 10.
