Moldova June 2026: Geely EX5 and Coolray dominate

The Geely EX5 is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova for the third straight month.

Data by our Central European partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market surging 26.6% year-on-year in June to 1,147 units. This way, the year-to-date tally is up 25.6% to 5,915. For the first time, the models charts is dominated by two Geely models: the EX5 cements its lead with a third consecutive monthly win and is now the standalone YTD best-seller. Meanwhile the Coolray is up two spots on May to reach a record 2nd place. The Toyota Corolla Cross (+113%) is the best of the rest at #3, distancing the Toyota RAV4 (+45.2%) and Kia Sportage (-24.1%). Notice also the BMW X3 up to #6.
