Moldova September 2026: Geely EX5 remains ultra dominant
The Geely EX5 is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova for the 6th straight month.
Data by our local partner CE Auto has new car sales in Moldova up a further 13.3% year-on-year in September to 1,508 units, keeping in mind September 2025 was already up 51.4% on the year prior. The year-to-date volume is now 22.8% to 10,008. The Geely EX5 is the most popular vehicle in the country for the 6th month in a row with a splendid 8.2% share vs. 6.6% so far this year. The Toyota RAV4 (+9.2%) confirms its 2nd place while the Kia Sportage (-9.1%) overtakes the Toyota Corolla Cross (+13.5%) for third position. The Dacia Duster (+23.4%) is back inside the Top 10 at #5 ahead of four Chinese models: the BYD Sealion 06, Geely Coolray, Monjaro (for its first Top 10 finish) and BYD Sealion 05 (+20%).
