Oman H1 2026: Jetour up to #2 brand, Ram 1500 surges to #5

Ram 1500 sales are up 3-fold over H1 2026.

30,870 new light vehicles hit Omani roads over the First Half of 2026, a steep -15.2% year-on-year fall. Toyota (-25.7%) sees its market share drop from 48.7% last year to a still ultra dominant 42.6% now. Jetour (+44.9%) ignores the market drop and climbs three spots year-on-year to a brilliant 2nd place with 8.3% share. It is followed by Hyundai (-4.4%), while Nissan (+14%) and Changan (+29.3%) also impress and round out the Top 5. The performer of the year so far is Ram, up 193.9% to 8th place vs. #17 a year ago and #14 over the Full Year 2025. Notice also Haval up 86.4% to #14, BYD landing at #15, Chery at #22 and iCAUR at #23.

Over in the models charts, the Toyota Hilux (-33.8%) continues to dominate despite falling twice as fast as the market to 10.8% share vs. 13.8% a year ago. Similarly, the Toyota Land Cruiser (-32.2%) and Land Cruiser Pickup (-43.8%) both freefall but keep their ranking. The Jetour T2 (+27.9%) also stays at #4 while the Ram 1500 (+193.9%) is up 19 spots to a fantastic 5th position. The Toyota Yaris Sedan (+94.1%), Prado (+34.5%) and Hyundai Accent (+30.5%) also make themselves noticed in the remainder of the Top 10. The most popular recent launch is the Jetour G700 at #38 ahead of the iCAUR V27 (#51), BYD Song Plus (#62) and Chery Arrizo 5 (#68).
