Israel July 2026: Omoda Jaecoo continues to lead, Ora shoots up, Chinese at 48.1% share
Israeli Ora sales are up 1595.7% year-on-year in July.
According to our local partner cartube.co.il, the Israeli new car market advances 7.1% year-on-year in July to 26,481 units. This brings the year-to-date tally up 10.3% to 203,340. Omoda Jaecoo (+235.9%) surges ahead to score its seventh consecutive month above 10% share at 13.4%. Toyota (+7.2%) overtakes Chery (-13.6%) for second places but remains at #3 year-to-date. BYD (+19.8%) is up two spots to #4, making it three Chinese brands in the Top 4. Once dominant, Hyundai (-31.1%) and Kia (-27.2%) both crater. MG (+132.3%) and Geely (+110.2%) also shoot up to #8 and #9 respectively. Further down, notice Ora (+1595.7%) up 29 ranks on June to a record #12 with 1.5% share, Deepal (+119%), Leapmotor (+104.7%), Opel (+100%) and Lynk & Co (+91.1%). All in all, Chinese manufacturers see their sales soar 52.9% year-on-year in July to 12,743 and 48.1% share vs. 33.7% in July 2025.
