Slovakia June 2026: Ford (+59%) places Transit/Tourneo Custom at #6

The Ford Tourneo/Transit Custom is up to #6 in Slovakia in June.

New car sales in Slovakia progress 6.1% year-on-year in June to 9,339 units, however the H1 tally is in negative at -3.6% to 43,504. Skoda (-5.2%) can’t capitalise on the market’s growth but stays the faraway leader with 19.3% share, one percentage point below its YTD level. Volkswagen (+11.4%) follows at 10.2% while Hyundai (+1%) and Toyota (+3.1%) swap rankings vs. last month to #3 and #4 respectively. Kia (-19%) struggles at #5 but Dacia (+27.1%), Ford (+59%) and Audi (+67.8%) all post stellar gains below. BYD (+1620%) celebrates on year in market with a record volume and an equal record ranking. Tesla (#17) makes its first appearance in the charts with 1.5% share.

Model-wise, Skoda monopolises the podium with the Octavia (+5.6%), Kamiq (+29.7%) and Karoq (-4.1%) in the lead. The Hyundai i20 (+27.6%) shines at #4, distancing the Kia Sportage (+17.8%) also in great shape. The Ford Transit/Tourneo Custom (+333.9%) is the hero of the month, up 40 spots on May to land at a record 6th place. The Kia K4 (#14) is the best-selling newcomer ahead of the Tesla Model Y (#20), Chery Tiggo 7 (#38) and BYD Seal U (#52).
