Kuwait Q1 2026: Nissan Patrol takes the lead
The Nissan Patrol is the best-selling vehicle in Kuwait over Q1.
New car sales in Kuwait flounder -17.8% year-on-year over Q1 to 29,104 units. Toyota (-30.6%) is hit hard but remains ultra dominant at 24.4% share. Both Nissan (+22.9%) and Mitsubishi (+6.6%) defy the negative market with splendid YoY gains to round out the podium like they did a year ago. Ford (-41.7%) stays at #4 despite imploding, while Jetour (-9.5%) limits its fall and climbs from #8 to #5. Kia (-35.5%), MG (-32%) and Lexus (-25.4%) follow with drab results whereas Changan (+12.4%) and Geely (+46.8%) both shine and close the Top 10. Among newcomers, Soueast is #18, Denza #21 and BYD #22.
Over in the models charts, the Nissan Patrol (+103.7%) spectacularly takes charge with 6.8% share, edging past a falling Toyota Land Cruiser (-37.5%) for just 38 sales. The Nissan Sunny (+29.8%) stays at #3 above the Toyota Prado (-37.6%) and Mitsubishi Outlander (+72.6%). For once the Jetour T2 (-29.5%) has stopped progressing and falls to #6. The Mitsubishi L200 Diesel (+1161.7%) and Haval H9 (+293.5%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10.
