Argentina February 2025: Fiat Cronos lodges first win in almost a year
The Fiat Cronos is the best-selling car in Argentina in February.
The Argentinean new light vehicle market is euphoric once again in February at +70.8% year-on-year to 40,422 units. This way, the year-to-date volume after two months is up 99.4% to 106,666. Volkswagen (+96.7%) confirms it is the new favourite here with 17.9% share, distance traditional leader Toyota (+40.3%) at 16.5%. Fiat (+78.5%), Peugeot (+88.5%) and Renault (+79.9%) all beat the market to round out the Top 5. Citroen (+144.7%) and Chevrolet (+126.3%) do even better in the remainder of the Top 10.
Over in the models charts, the Fiat Cronos (+4.2%) reclaims the top spot for the first time in almost a year (since March 2024) despite tiny year-on-year growth. The Peugeot 208 (+44.1%) is relegated to 2nd place but stays #1 year-to-date. The Chevrolet Tracker (+81.9%), Toyota Hilux (+73.6%) and VW Taos (+73%) beat the market below. The recently launched Peugeot 2008 ranks #10 with the Renault Kardian at #15.
