Germany private sales Full Year 2024: VW T-Roc and Dacia Sandero in charge

Private sales in Germany drop -2.1% year-on-year in 2024 to 915,633 units for a 32.5% market share vs. 32.9% in 2023. The VW T-Roc (+36.4%) leaps back up one spot on last year into pole position with a 47.2% Private Sales Ratio (PSR), it is now followed by the Dacia Sandero (+30.1%) at 79.7% PSR. The VW Golf (+34.5%) is back near the top at #3 but its PSR remains at a weak 20.7%. #1 last year, the Tesla Model Y (-31.2%) falls to #4 but sees its PSR improve slightly to 61.8%. The Fiat Ducato (+22.9%) is up five spots to #5, the Skoda Karoq (+82.3%) up 23 to #6 and the Mercedes GLA (+15%) up four to #8. Strong PSR include the Dacia Duster at 69.2%, Skoda Kamiq at 60%, Cupra Born at 72.7%, Dacia Jogger at 70.4%, Citroen Jumper at 71.1% and Mercedes B Class at 79.8%.
