Croatia March 2024: Skoda Octavia and Renault Clio top stable market

The Skoda Octavia is the most popular model in Croatia in March.

The Croatian new car market is stable in March at -0.3% year-on-year to 6,258. This bring the Q1 volume to 15,205 units, up 14.8% over the same period in 2023. Despite dropping -4.1% year-on-year, Renault snaps its first Croatian win since last May. It distances the YTD leader Skoda (+32.6%) and Volkswagen (+1.5%). Suzuki (+17.8%) and Dacia (+24.4%) also impress below as does Toyota (+30.9%) at #7. Further down, Ford (+83.8%), Citroen (+72.6%), BMW (+60.8%) and Nissan (+17%) make themselves noticed.

Over in the models ranking, the Skoda Octavia (+145.9%) maintains its tight grip at 6.8% share, with the Renault Clio (-7.6%) up five spots on February to #2 but down year-on-year. The Suzuki Vitara (+50.3%) is bumped down to #3 ahead of the Renault Captur (+132.5%) up 11 ranks on last month to #4. The next 3 models all outrun the market with fantastic YoY gains: the VW T-Cross is up 69.3% to #5, the Dacia Duster up 21.8% to #6 and the Toyota Yaris Cross up 314% to #7. The Ford Puma lodges its first ever Croatian Top 20 finish at #12.
