Croatia September 2026: Geely Starray takes the lead

The Geely Starray is the best-selling vehicle in Croatia in September.

4,497 new cars found a buyer in Croatia in September, a -3.1% year-on-year skid. The year-to-date tally is now up 4.5% to 58,268. Skoda (-6.8%) and Volkswagen (-29.6%) both underperform but stay on top of the brands charts with 12.5% and 9% share respectively. Suzuki (+57.1%) advances two spots on August to #3 while Toyota (-22.9%) is down one to #4. The performer of the month is Geely up 115.2% year-on-year and 6 ranks on last month to #5 with 5% share vs. #20 and 1.3% so far this year. Mazda (+122.6%) also shines at #7, up 10 spots on August. Further down, Omoda (+14500%), Jaecoo (+1725%), Ford (+170.7%) and BYD (+106.1%) stand out.

Model-wise, we have a big surprise in pole position: the Geely Starray spectacularly takes the lead with 5% share, well above the YTD leader the Skoda Octavia (-27.9%) in great difficulty. The Suzuki Vitara (+53.5%) impresses at #3 ahead of the Hyundai Tucson (+17.4%). The Omoda 5 storms into the Top 5 at #5 vs. #20 last month. Excellent performances also by the Opel Frontera (+123.9%), Suzuki Swift (+126.2%), Ford Tourneo Courier (#12) and Mazda CX-30 (#18).
