Israel May 2022: MG up to #7, Geely breaks into Top 10 in market down -6.4%

Thanks to our partnership with local outlet cartube.co.il, we can share with you today an All-brands ranking for May for Israel, models data is a quarterly occurrence. The market is down -6.4% year-on-year this month to 25,075 sales, meaning the year-to-date volume is now down -10.6% to 135,972. Hyundai (+12.1%) easily reclaims the brands Top spot with 19.2% share, in line with its YTD level of 19.5%. Toyota (+3%) falls to #2, holding 14.4% of the market vs. 15.4% YTD, while Kia (+30.9%), Mazda (+37.4%) and Mitsubishi (+37.4%) hold onto their April and YTD rankings at #3 ,#4 and #5 respectively. In fact, the entire Top 7 outpaces the market with positive results: Chevrolet (+22.7%) is up 5 spots on last month to #6 and MG (+375.3%) equals its ranking record at #7, also hit last December. Geely breaks into the Israeli Top 10 for the very first time at #10.
