Lebanon November 2021: Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi L200 add up to 49.6% share in market up 96.6%

The Mitsubishi L200 holds 24.4% of the Lebanese market in November.

The Lebanese new car market soars 96.6% year-on-year in November to 1,270 registrations. Toyota (+142.3%) outpaces the market to score a 36.1% share while Mitsubishi (+10900%) posts a surreal gain to jump to 2nd place with 26% of the market. Suzuki (+610.5%) is also in outstanding shape at #3 and 10.6%, distancing Kia (-8%) and Chevrolet (+40.7%) both underperforming. Honda (+288.9%) and MG (+110%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas Nissan (-81%) implodes. In the models ranking, two nameplates add up to almost half of the market: the Toyota Hilux (+442.4%) at 25.2% share and Mitsubishi L200 at 24.4%. They distance the Suzuki Swift Dzire, Kia Sportage (+383.3%) and Toyota Prado. Notice also the new Suzuki S-Presso at #7, the Toyota Fortuner at #9 and the Chevrolet Tahoe at #10.
