Thailand March 2021: Toyota, Isuzu, Honda outpace market back up 23.5%
Honda sales are helped by the new City hatchback.
New vehicle sales in Thailand rebound back up 23.5% year-on-year in March to 74.295, meaning the year-to-date tally is now down -3% to 194.137. The two market leaders Toyota (+28.6%) and Isuzu (+28.6%) evolve the same way year-on-year, which in the current context is a good performance for Toyota at 29.9% share vs. 28.7% so far this year but weak for Isuzu at 23.6% share vs. 25.4%. Honda (+37.2%) also beats the market in third place but Mitsubishi (+2.5%) isn’t that lucky. Hino (+89.3%), Mazda (+49.2%), Ford (+45.5%) and MG (+35.7%) also perform better than the market in the remainder of the Top 10 while further down Kia (+293.2%), Subaru (+290.6%), Tata (+266.7%) and Peugeot (+200%) stun.
