The Slovenian new car market sinks -71.4% year-on-year in April to just 1.846 registrations, pulling the year-to-date tally down -38.8% to 16.354. Local producer Renault (-28.9%) scores the best hold in the Top 12 by far, and as a result shoots up to 32.3% share which should be an all-time record. Skoda (-73.4%) is faithful to the third place it holds YTD, distancing Peugeot (-66.3%) up 6 spots on March to #4, Dacia (-65.8%) and Toyota (-70%). Opel (-79.9%) is up 10 ranks on last mont to #8 despite falling faster than the market. Further down, Land Rover (+40.9%) is the only gainer in market at #14 vs. #21 so far in 2020.
